Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is offered through the American Heart Association and is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory, or other requirements or for anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. In this course you will learn:
- First aid basics
- Medical emergencies
- Injury emergencies
- Environmental emergencies
- Preventing illness and injury
- Adult CPR and AED use
- Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies
- Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR
Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. If a course is needed for your employment, please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.
This course can be used for Certified Family Homes.
This course does not meet the State requirements for daycare providers.
