In this workshop, you will learn how to use textured and sanded papers, along with solvents, to speed up the colored pencil art process. You will learn how to work on black paper and how to use the color of toned paper to provide one of the values in a composition. You will build on the skills learned in the Beginning Colored Pencil class, such as layering, graded washes, and burnishing.

Please read:  Please bring and wear a cloth face covering when coming to campus and attending classes. Supplies Needed: One set of 24 Prismacolor Premier artist-quality colored pencils. Electric or battery-powered pencil sharpener (hand held models don't work well).
