Supplies needed: Watercolor paint pigments in any colors you wish, be sure to have at least: Cadmium red, cobalt blue, yellow and Hooker’s green. Watercolor paper should be 140 pound cold press in size 9x12 or larger and be sure to get watercolor brushes and not ones used for oil painting. Please bring plastic water containers (not glass) and the tissues should be white facial tissues without additives. Palette’s with cover (12 wells with large mixing area is nice, or plastic plate for mixing color)
Additional Supplies which will be nice to have, in order to learn a variety of techniques. Bring what you can of the following: black micron permanent ink pen size 03, ruler, masking fluid, hair dryer, old toothbrush, salt in shaker, ½ or 1 inch painters tape, a board to secure your paper to while working and Saral transfer paper (the instructor will have some transfer paper for purchase at class).
