Join us for a 5-day summer day camp and learn the basics of computing and cybersecurity. This program is designed for high schools students to introduce them the growing field of cybersecurity through hands-on activities and direct interaction with industry experts. Campers will receive their own Raspberry Pi and learn the basics of programming, circuit design, and cyber-physical systems.

Campers will also get to tour Idaho National Lab’s world-class facilities where researchers tackle the nation’s most pressing problems. Interact with peers and mentors and explore the possibilities of a challenging and rewarding career path. On the last day of camp, use your new skills to solve challenging puzzles and “capture the flag.” No prior knowledge or skills are required.

You will learn:
* Computing basics, using Windows and Linux
* Programming with python
* Circuit design
* Binary, hex, encoding, and cryptography
* Safe and secure online behavior
* Cybersecurity “capture the flag”

Lunch will be included each day, along with a t-shirt, and your own Raspberry Pi to keep.  Come make new friends, and great memories - can you hack it?
