Learn basic watercolor painting techniques! Become knowledgeable of color mixing theories and how to plan and organize values. This class will have variations in design and subject matter. By the end of the course, you will be able to do a flat wash, graded wash, mingled wash and understand glazing.  Teacher will provide paper for painting; full supply list available upon request.

Please read:  Supplies required: Sketchbook Painting Board Brushes: • Watercolor 1” flat, • Watercolor ½” flat, • # 8 synthetic sable round brush • Small brush for signing your name. Turquoise brand 3 B Pencils, Sharpie Extra Fine Tip Black Pen. Kneaded Eraser, Plastic Eraser (2)X-acto Bulldog Clip no. 4, to hold your paper on your board. Water containers. 3-cup container. Roll of toilet tissue 3 M. Highland Masking Tape ½” Inch masking tape. * Paper towel , Small fine mist spray bottle. Palette: Robert E. Wood Palette. Pigments: Yellow Pigments: Azo Aureolin or if Winsor Newton Aureolin. Gamboge Yellow Ocher Raw Sienna Blue Pigments: Ultra-Marine Blue Cobalt Blue Phthalocyanine Blue Cerulean Blue (Winsor Newton) or Manganese Blue Hue in M. Graham Pigments to pick up later Indian Red. (Winsor Newton) Cobalt Teal Sap Green Payne’s Gray Red Pigments: Cadmium Red Light Alizarin Crimson Quinacridone Rose Burnt Sienna Orange Pigments: Cadmium Orange Green Pigments: Perm. Green Light
