Explore the beginning aspects of pottery through basic hand building and glazing techniques. Learn the basic terminology of pottery, firing and glazing as well as application techniques and methods. Students will have the choice of what pieces to make with one-on-one instruction from instructor. The last few weeks will be spent using the potter’s wheel. At the end of the course, students will have the opportunity to have professional pictures of their pieces taken. Supplies are provided by the instructor.
