In this class you will learn how to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to design your own art quilt patterns. You will explore editing a photo in Photoshop and converting it to a vector image in Illustrator. You will then learn how to design a digitial pattern from the photo. Students must have a basic understanding of the software. Taking an instroductory class of Photoshop and Illustrator is highly recommended. Supplies needed: minimum 1/2 yard of 12" Lite Stream-A-Seam II, fabric scraps of multiple values and colors, scissors, light box (recommened), applique pressing sheet (recommened), tape, pencil, laptop with installed software (optional).
