CourseGraphic This practical course provides essential welding skills for repairs, home projects, and hobbyist tasks, with a focus on applications relevant to farmers and ranchers. Students will have opportunity to learn basic welding techniques and safety practices tailored to common repair and fabrication needs. This class will also serve as an open lab setting to learn skills students may wish improve on.

Notice

Please read:  Learn basic welding techniques suitable for repairs and home projects. Gain practical skills for welding tasks relevant to farming and ranching. Understand safety practices and equipment handling. Apply welding skills to complete simple repair and fabrication tasks. Supplies required. Equipment and tools needed: safety glasses, Coveralls or work shirt and pants (100% cotton NO polyester!) must have long sleeves, Gloves: all leather prefer with gauntlet, Boots: leather (closed toe, over the ankles under pants), Head protection: (a) Welding Helmet [Shade 10 or Higher –Auto shade is ok], No Jewelry. Optional: Leather apron and sleeves or FR (Fire Resistant) jacket.
