Advanced Opportunities allow high school students to receive funding of up to $1000 per year for Workforce Training Classes. Follow these steps to get funding for classes:
1) Contact your school counselor and create an account on the Advanced Opportunities Website: https://sde.idaho.gov/student-engagement/advanced-ops/ 2) Contact WTCE at 208.535.5345 for help with registering for your classes. 3) Request funding from Advanced Opportunities. A few details to help you find exactly what you need:
- Click on the Class Title to review the details of the class
- Click on Add to Cart to register for a class; Waiting List indicates the class is full and you may add your name to the waiting list.
- If you are unable to find a class – Select Choose Additional Classes
