Learn ‘Spanish survival skills’ and explore this universal language through vocabulary and conversation. With an experienced instructor on board, come and be taught the fundamentals of a new language or brush up on the Spanish you may already know but have not used recently. If you’re just a beginner or if you’re interested in refreshing your Spanish language skills, this class is for you. Learn the basics of the Spanish language such as the alphabet, reading, counting, and proper pronunciation. We will also study pronouns, verbs, (the two forms of ‘be’ verbs), conjugations, and adjectives. Students will engage in simple conversation and common phrases and will learn survival Spanish. There will be little homework but lots of practice required. Bring your questions and come and learn in a fun, nonthreatening course! NOTE: This class will break for Potato Harvest which is tentatively scheduled for the weeks of September 23 and September 30, and the date of the last class may be adjusted to accommodate Halloween.
